   1. Classic oxford shirt in Classic White

I've always wanted a plain white collared shirt, I think it's a nice basic to have in your wardrobe. Looks great paired with dark washed jeans or underneath a sweater for the cooler days.


2. Ivy V-neck cotton sweater in Lantana

Just a basic V-neck sweater, I love the colour.


3. Cotton swing wrap sweater in As Is Khaki

One of my winter obsessions; draped neck sweater.


4. Lisa cowl neck dress in Masters Black

I really like this sweater dress, but sadly the material is quite itchy. It is especially noticeable when I first put it on, after a while it's not so bad but I think I'd have to wear this with a long sleeve t-shirt underneath. FYI the belt didn't come with the dress.

Make up goodies

Here are some goodies I recently purchased (all except the Maybelline dream liquid mousse were from Priceline.) I haven’t tried them out enough to be able to say whether I like them or not. The main thing I noticed about the Covergirl face products is that they all seem to have a strong scent (the liquid foundation has a stronger scent than the powder). It makes me think of those rubbing ointments like Dencorub, so if you’re someone who doesn’t like strong smells I’d probably stay away from them.


My most exciting purchase would have to be the Covergirl smoky eye set. I actually got it for $14.97! The set comes with a full size smoky shadow blast stick in Onyx Smoke, a full size lash blast mascara in Very Black and a full size line exact defining liquid eyeliner in Very black. I actually just wanted to get the mascara since it’s 50% off, but for under $15 I got all three products, great deal!

The hair mousse and hair spray I got because beauty gurus on youtube have said good things about them, so I wanted to try them out. The lotion I got because it was on sale and it smells amazing !

Market Haul

 I went to Glebe market last weekend and picked up this red dress for $5. :)

I also purchased this green dress from a store near the market. It's actually 2 sizes too big for me, but it was the only one left so I decided to get it. I was thinking cutting the top part and turning it into a high-waisted skirt because the bottom half of the dress is what I love!

Bold and bright - Christian Dior 2011

I saw this make up look in a magazine for Christian Dior Spring 2011, bright eyes and bold lips. I really like how it looks and even though it's autumn here I'd still rock this look to brighten up the coming gloomy winter days. I think the key to keeping this look wearable is to keep the lips matte. This is my take on the look
